The back of the Evo3D reminds me of it. Not sure I care for the design. I know it needs the two lenses to film 3D, but it still could have been designed differently so it doesn't look like we're using a 1990's cassette recorder LOL.

If I squint both eyes, hop up and down and flutter my eyelids I can kind of see how they are similar.

Otherwise...looks exactly how I would suspect two cameras and a grip back case would feel.

When I see dual cameras I think of Short Circuit or R.O.B.:

I approve this thread. Moar 80s stuff plz.

And that NES robot was so useless.

I still have my handheld voice recorder with mini-cassette tapes.

Does anyone remember "Sound Wave," the Decepticon Transformer that turned into a mini-cassette player?

They need to make an Evo decepticon that transforms into a F-ing jet.

Damn, you guys must be in your 30s talking about Transformers, Short Circuit, and the robot from the first Nintendo. I used the Nintendo robot to play Gyromite, at least I think that was name of the game that came with Duck Hunt.

I got you all beat, when I was in Korea back in 2002 I purchased a complete set of Voltron figures still in the box. But the set isn't the same as the one I had as a kid because you could put figures inside the different lions.

Nice. But that doesn't look like the original. It's not, is it?

Dang you Dan, my stuff is in storage. PCSing to California next month and I just returned from an overseas deployment. Living in a nice military hotel until I'm cleared to leave my base for California.
