    Hello,

I have been wanting to buy a Euro Hero for quite some time now, but cannot not come close to being able to afford a new one!

I cant stand the look of Sprints' version and there is no 3g where I live, so the gsm version of the phone would be great for me.

So now I ask if anyone is looking to sell their used HTC Hero for a reasonable price (or favorable one for me ;)) , please reply to this message as soon as possible so I can come in contact with you, thanks!

I might also mention that I really favor the White-Teflon, Black or Graphite versions of the phone. Sorry no brown or pink, colored phones aren't for me.

If you're from the U.S. you could always look for a used hero from Canada, at least if you ever get 3G from AT&T in your area you'd have a phone that could take advantage of it. They're not that expensive new from Telus ($499).

    Thanks for the advice tO4jas,

But everywhere I look for a Telus Hero, people want around $540 dollars for the phone and shipping and no one is selling it used because the phone just came out for Canada not to long ago.

And T-Mobile coverage in my area has a better chance of going HSPA than 3g! Neither one is going to happen any time soon.

So please, if anyone reads this thread and is considering selling their Hero, please reply your interest so I can find a way to come in contact with you.

    Thank you!

    been trying that for ever!

    I get outbidded every time!

and all the Buy It Nows are over $500

I am looking for a used one for less than $350, that is not unreasonable is it?

I paid $380 for mine on ebay, its a white one with a small scratch. I contacted the seller and because it was a make a offer type auction, he agreed to accept $380. You just gotta know which ones to keep on eye on, check ebay several times a day if you can, and rank the auctions by newly listed, so if someone puts one up for a good buy it now price, you can grab it before someone else does. ebay is a sellers market, but if you play it right, you can get a good price. There were two others that went for the same price as the one I got, it was strange because within like 3 days, several sold for lower then normal $450+ prices. I was watching ebay for about 3 weeks.

    fyi, mine isn't for sale.

    @Gabe
hahaha "fyi, mine isn't for sale"
and thanks for taking the time to post some advice

I've been watching Ebay for quite some time now, and nobody will seem to

budge for anything less than $400. I contact sellers before bidding gets to high

and I offer them reasonable prices, but it just hasn't worked for me. I've also

tried things like Craigslist and whatnot, but to no avail.

So that is why I decided to join this forum and post this thread as a last

attempt at getting this phone. I thought if I put my interest out there to the

number of Hero users on this forum, I thought I might find someone who was

    looking to sale.

So once again, if you are even considering selling a Hero in moderate

condition or better, please post your interest so that I may come in contact

with you as soon as possible.

    Thank you
