All black and grey instead of white.

    New featured app section too.

    I like it

Hmm, downside seems to be that it is really slow.

Or it just doesn't want me to update IMDB

It's slow and laggy and force closes a lot on my phone.
In fact it FCs everytime I try to update an app (IMDB and Go Message widget.)

Yeah I got the same behaviour trying to install or update anything (even going to menus often FC'd). So I went back to the previous version and used TB to uninstall market updater.

Yep. Its terrible. Runs like a dog (never understood that phrase, dogs are pretty quick), looks fugly and was a complete pita. Uninstalled it about 5 minutes after I installed it

I couldn't get that to install - it put the apk into /system/app but it wouldn't install. Thus I lost my market completely (had to flash the apk from my ROM).

Are there any instructions for it anywhere, so I can check that I didn't miss anything?

Got it today automatically. Well... I kind of wish it didn't crash all the time, can't install updates, can't install a single app, sometimes I'm not even in it and I get the ".com.processor.vending" force close dialog box.

Mine's updated too - quite like it but my already under pressure internal memory has just taken another pounding - the market app has increased form 2mb to 7mb now!

Uninstalled the update and it went back to 2mb but then updated itself again back up to 7mb!

I quite like the look of it. It's hung a couple of times trying to update apps which is a bit annoying, but installing new ones has been fine so far.

It will eventually speed up, its just doing a lot of work in the background i think, then it will be speedy liek the old one :p If you dont have it yet, you can try and force it to update Droid Den New Android Market Rolling Out Now

If you've rolled back and it keeps updating, you can prevent that by removing the Market Updater app in /system/app. Obviously you can only do this if S-Off or using ADB, etc.

Go to the Market app in Settings/Applications/All and uninstall the update. It'll go back to the previous version.

If you meant fix the latest version so it works, then no idea.

I installed Redux 2 Test last night (note to self, don't change mtd partitions after midnight) and it has 3.1.3. I was thinking of rolling back, but I had to install TB to restore my apps, so ran with that initially to get the phone back. Anyway, no force closures so far, so I'm going to stick with it for now for the PIN functionality. The fact that it's slow and laggy may help stop me spending hours browsing it and do something more useful instead. :)

Okay, thanks. I also found that turning off the ads has helped - though that could coincidence.
