One of the workers told me i had to buy 50 bucks worth of accessories or they could not sell me one.
Did s/he work on commission?
make sure you go to corporate Sprint stores. The third party retailers suck.
Yes but deff. worth it not to wait on a list
I'm pretty sure she got commission. They were doing the same thing to 3 other people that were waiting inline. She said that if i did not buy a silicon case, car charger and the screen protector the computer would not let her sell it to me. She also said to come back some other day when they had the ones that did not require me to buy the accessories if i did not want to buy them.
Sounds like you got scammed.
She also gave my sister and me a free battery and told use to hide it and not let anyone see it because the one that came with it was not fully charged and would not get us trough the day.
I thought so too but i did not want to come back some other day and have to wait for the ups guy to get there.
I'd call up sprint and report this. If it was a Sprint corporate store Im sure someone will be getting an earful at the least. If it was a Sprint partner store who knows. Sprint might offer you some sort of compensation.
Considering you recived a couple free batteries, which will come in handy, it might not be worth the trouble.
If you have the phone now just return the stuff you don't need or want.
Just return the stuff afterward.
Though I would think what the sales representative is unethical, I would not have any problem spending $50 more in accessories the moment I bought the phone. If the sales representative was smart, she would've just offered all the accessories available instead of giving a customer a reason not to come back.
Like already said, just return the stuff.
a silicon case a car charger and a screen protector for 50 bux? thats a steal and things i would def buy once i got the phone.
Sounds unethical to me...
This one Verizon store tried to pull something like this on me. I wanted the Droid and ask if they would match their online special for the instant rebate. They said yes, if I bought $50 worth of stuff with the Droid. I went to Best Buy instead.
wanna buy a dryer
Story sounds fishy.
