Also might be worth it to point out that you have to tap the screen to focus on a particular area.

Photos are nice for a cell phone. AF is fairly accurate and the pics are pretty sharp. Colors look vibrant but it tends to get too saturated for my taste and easy to get a washed out look in sunlight. The video isnt too great IMO. 20fps on 720 is too noticeable and it has major fringing issues. 480 looks a bit better at 29fps but the colors are muted in comparison. So its fine for what most people will use it for, to snap pics of friends and such, but thats about it.

If you hold down the picture button it will not auto focus. If you just press it and let go it will auto focus.

And don't forget the tab on the left of the camera screen. You can adjust ISO and metering and saturation and things like that. GIve it a go!!!

I did the same thing. As a matter of fact I still have the plastic on because I don't yet have a case. Luckily I figured it out before making a post about it
