    What plan do you have with Comcast? I didn't know they offered speeds that fast. . .

    thats the 30 mb/s but for some reason this is what i,m getting and yes i have tried retesting and from other servers also with almost the same result.

    Gotta be some kind of error. Have you tried running a speedtest on your computer?

    Its not an error, comcast is famous for giving more bandwidth than your supposed to get. More likely you live fairly close to a gateway and are getting better speeds than advertised so than people at the extremes of you physical network can get 25-30 mbps. When i had advertised 20 mbps with comcast my actual speeds were closer to 30. On a good ftp i could download 100 MB in 8-10 seconds.
