Anyone have trouble with nougat?

    My phone started getting buggy after I downloaded android nougat, apps take a lot longer to load And it seems like my battery life has deteriorated quite a bit, anyone else with this problem?

    It's typically advisable to perform a hard reset after major OS updates.

    I think this is especially relevant for Samsung phones, for some reason.

    Nah. Even LG. Basically any phone with an overlay. It's even worse for Asus coz they got more bloatware than even Samsung. Sometimes on overlay feature changes the old files aren't deleted and the phone gets confused as instructions send it to look at multiple places.

    Probably just seems to be worse for Samsung phones because there are so darn many of them out there and each model has too many versions, by carrier, by country, by configuration ... I'm not sure that even Samsung can keep them straight. ;)

    From what I've been hearing from some sources it takes sometimes
    a few days for the battery to calibrate.
    I've noticed that in about 3 of my devices when newly formatting
    an OS both Apple and Android. Some patience is key.

    But, you need to do the usual disabling apps, bloatware, developer
    option yahta yahta and you should be good to go.
