You should try "Greenify" this app helps a lot with battery consumption! I literally got the best out of my battery with this app. It works by "freezing" apps that run in the background. For example, "Facebook" that app always runs in the background and keeping track of push notification which drain your battery a lot so I suggest you try this app it's the best! :)

I also have a battery saver recommendation.

This app (built by qualcomm, our cpu manufacturer) watches what apps you use at what times of the day. It then uses this info to reduce how often your apps sync, limiting them to the times when you normally use the app or when the app is open in the foreground. While the sync amount is calculated automatically, you can also manually choose it in the settings. In addition to saving your battery, this can also save your mobile data.

In addition to watching your apps, it optionally also uses your network location (lower power than gps) to record the locations of wifi connections that you use and automatically disables your wifi when away from these locations. When you are near a wifi connection that you have used before, it then turns your wifi back on.

Nice app, I might try it out later because my battery life is really frustrating at times.
