    It might be that adb is in a diffrent directory as it is for me. Try going to the top folder of your Android SDK directory and then typing in adb into search if you're on Windows. Then right click on the adb file and chose "open file location". Once there, go up a folder and then shift+right click on the folder and chose "copy as path". Then cmd and cd + paste. If that doesn't work, try reinstalling the SDK. Good luck :)

    Ah!

    I go and moderate other forums - what do I get? - behind, that's what! :)

    Thanks for the heads up!

    I'll check that out, get back if I learn something before somebuddy else answers.

    EDIT and PS - which part is giving the heartburn??

    ok..basically when i try to flash the recovery..it just hangs there..this is what i typed in the cmd

    C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator>cd c:\adb

    C:\adb>adb shell
    adb server is out of date. killing...
    * daemon started successfully *
    $ su
    su
    # reboot bootloader
    reboot bootloader

    C:\>cd adb\

    C:\adb>fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
    sending 'recovery' (4034 KB)...

    the file is unzipped and i put it in the adb folder...am i missing something?
