I dont have the receipt. Is there a cost? I got it used from ebay.
That's your mistake right there buddy. You can try to get it through LG (for a price) but don't expect Metro PCS to do anything about it. I had an old cell phone I purchased from ebay stop working and Metro basically told me that's what I get for buying phones off the internet. Your best bet is to purchase a brand new one from Metro and get the insurance...

I bought mine at a corporate Metro store in Lakeland, FL, at the store it works very fast and connects to their network with no problems. At home: it drops calls, will not connect to my network, battery flushed in no time, keeps on telling me: no signal, the 4G signal disappears, and It will not work properly inside the apartment; something that never happened with the LG Optimus. (1X signal)
The Metro store personnel, is no help. I went back the next day to return it, but they told me I was stuck with it, because I had service with them before I bought the stupid piece of !!!!. In other words, in order to get you, Metro will accommodate you, but once they got you; they do not care about your satisfaction.
And do you believe that Verizon or AT&T really care about your satisfaction? They just want you to sign the contract and get as much money out of you as possible.
