I found a discussion thread at New 100% reliable "temp root" for Titanium Backup (won't stop working until reboot!) [Archive] - xda-developers which talks about getting temporary root for an HTC Sensation phone. Since I am not a developer, I have no idea if this is possible for the D3, and I don't want to blindly try an exploit without really know what damage it might cause. Does anybody have an thought about this approach, at least until we get a "real" and permanent root solution? From a user viewpoint (mine) I just want to run Titanium backup since I installed MyBackup Pro and the differences with Titanium Backup Pro are painfully obvious.
