Yes, I admit I am. I was originally looking to buy the current Wildfire but I am waiting for this to come out and then depending upon price will decide which one to get. I hope it's out soon!

I love the smaller smartphones, but time to replace my X10 mini I think, this definitley looks like it is going to be my next purchase.

just hoping it isn't too small for a usefull qwerty keyboard as that is what kills the x10 mini for me.

I am thinking about this to replace my Samsung Galaxy. I want a pocketable, inexpensive device I can buy SIM-free at a reasonable cost. I will wait and see prices and reviews before making a decision though.

Well, when I tried out the original Wildfire, it was a pretty good size and very pocketable - the new one is even smaller (presumably as the trackpad has been dropped) so should slip in to that pocket even better.

Clove now have the black and silver versions of the Wildfire S in stock, and all the contract retailers are expected to have it from this Friday (6th May).

Anyone know if/when this phone will be available on PAYG and how much it is likely to cost?

    Thanks.

On a different tack I am thinking about getting this phone but have never owned an HTC model before. I was wondering what the sound reproduction is like on their phones? I do like to listen to music as I am working and prefer to use my mobile these days to keep desktop clutter to a minimum.
