They were just released at CES I think. Thinking of getting some.

Which altec lansing headset are you referring to? I use the backbeat 903. Has great sound and is fairly comfortable when on but is a real pain to get on as the wire that connects the two earpieces is really short.

Volume is good. Sound is crisp. Controls were great until my dog decided it was a chew toy. Now only the phone controls work. I swear I only turned my back for a minute!]

Oh yeah, but it still works great for audio as well as phone. I love that!

Haha sorry to hear about the chew toy :D

Thanks for the info though, think I might give them a go, still tempted to get a decent wired set though.

Got mine from ecost. Fairly inexpensive as they were on sale. Just at $50 including shipping. Seemed like a fair time to try them. That was 3 weeks ago.

I just purchased the back beat 903 for my new hero. I'm experiencing frequent skipping when listening to music. I was able to get it paired with the hero but, it did have a error message which stated it had problems (no details). Then when I connected to the head phones it also Popped the same message "problems connecting". The music or other audio is perfect from the hero external speaker but skips every to seconds (not exactly) through the 903 stereo headset. Any Ideas.
