Help Anyone use wireless tether?

I've heard that the sprint wireless tether on the Epic is really slow for some reason.

I get 4G at home, with speeds of about 7Mbps up and 1Mbps up.
Will I get the same speed with my laptop?

Please share your experience. Thanks.

I don't know about 4G. But with 3G, download seems to be capped around 400kbps.

I get around 8 Mbps down and 2 Mbps up on 4G. On 3G I used to get 1.3 Mbps down and 700 Kbps up before I got 4G in my area.
