I'm about to buy the gogroove flexsmart on amazon today. Only because its 58% off-- normally I wouldn't spend that much on an accessory. I wonder why its so extremely discounted, though... It got fairly decent reviews, plus I like that you can charge any usb device.
FM transmitters are my only option, since my old car's stereo has no aux in (I don't feel that its worth buying a whole new stereo for a car I dont plan on keeping much longer).

I just saw the other one for the first time though... looks very nice, and it removes the need for buying an extra car dock. damn, now I have a decision to make. lol

$50 for an FM transmitter?

If you have a decent ride, or at least plan on keeping it for a bit, I'd suggest upgrading to a head-unit with at least an Aux port.

I've never had good luck using FM transmitters.

I second the Motorola T505. I've tried several others in the past and the Moto beats them handily. One of the best purchases I've ever made!

Well I just went ahead and ordered the Advanced Car Mount System on Amazon. I figured $30 seemed like a pretty good deal. I love the fact that it has an arm with a cradle that can use the phone in portrait or landscape. This way, I don't have to go out and buy the car dock from Verizon (a car dock is a must have for me, since I use a lot of navigation and maps in the car and I need hands free visibility). And I can also charge the phone. It should come by tuesday or wednesday, and I'll let you guys know how it goes.

I received my car mount system today in the mail.
I have to say I am a little disappointed. I took a risk buying something that wasn't verified for the X. It's not a super snug fit in the adjustable dock, largely due to the fact that the X has a slanted shape from the hump. Its a little wobbly, but a little handy work could fix this. Also, I have to put the phone in upside down due to the fact that the cradle sides block off the usb charging port on the side of the X. This is not a big deal, however, because the dock swivels in many directions and still works fine.

My other issue with system is the adjustable arm. Initially this was the reason why I bought the system, but now I see this was a mistake. I suppose it depends on your car, but it doesn't really work in mine because of the placement of the cigarette lighter. It is located to the right of the steering wheel, but down very low. It is only a few inches long, so it doesn't reach up to a comfortable viewing height. It is also blocked by my gear shifter, located in the center between the seats. This is a major issue, and can render the system unusable for many people. If your cigarette lighter is located up higher on the dash board, it could be a much better fit.

Other than these issues, it really is a decent FM transmitter, and I like the fact that it is a dock, charger, and transmitter all in one. (as opposed to buying the verizon dock, an fm transmitter, and a car charger separately, which can be very costly) Its not, however, designed for the X, but it does still work if you are willing to make some slight modifications and if you're car's lighter is suitable for the arm and cradle setup.
