I was looking into getting a charging pad/powermat for the phone and was wondering if anyone else was currently using one or had any info.

    Thanks

Touchstone>powermat. I think I read they were working on something for the EVO. As of now (confirmed with a google search) it looks like you need to use the universal cube and plug to your USB. I don't see the advantage.

If I have to plug it in to my phone, I agree and do not see an advantage.

I had nothing but problems with my touchstones. My pre always did weird stuff when it was sitting on the touchstone, constant beeping that it's just been set down, waking up to a dead phone, overheating..etc..etc..

I have one from energized for my Wii remotes. Works food for them, came with special battery packs tho. I'm not even going to try setting my evo on it.

To me for a phone it would just take up too much desk/night stand space to use. I'm not that lazy.
