I Hear google music in my car on my nexus and its annoyign to hear my text sound and pause the song completely everytime i get a text. ANyway to make it liek the iphone where it'll just make the song really low for a quick second and no text sound at all? vibrating is fine if that stays.
Help Anyway to turn off texting sounds when listening to google music?

Unfortunately, this is the way the Android system is. I hate it too. The only option/workaround is to mute your sound while listening to your music.
Now, if you were to run the Cyanogen rom, it has a music app that has 'Focus Loss Ducking' in the app settings. This will make it so the music doesn't pause but rather lowers to play notification sounds. You can set the attenuation amount too.
Wonder if anyone else has found a way to make this work w/o having to mute ringtone/notification sounds?

I leave my ringers on when listenin to music, i shouldnt have to put my settings to vibrate every time i wanna hear music thru my phone, if anything, how about when text or calls come in, have it ring thru the phone speaker not the plug in. ahhh that would be MUCH better
