I am having an issue (with almost all of the aosp roms i think) with the mobile data. at first it was 1x/ nothing, and now i am able to get it back to lte but i am only getting subpar speeds and LOTS of random disconnects. i tried updating my radio to the latest, dont know if thats what caused the lte to work but i am still having problems with disconnects and speed. any ideas?

I searched a LOT and couldnt find an answer :(

What ROM are you on specifically? Have you had signal issues in your area lately? Have you tried a Sense ROM to see if it is specifically an AOSP issue, or a phone issue? I'd do that to try to see if it was the phone or the ROM's. I don't think it is typical to have such data issues with AOSP ROM's, as I've run several and never have had these types of issues. Could be your SIM card, but I'd try a Sense ROM first to see if it clears it up.

I had that issue too. The only AOSP rom that didn't give me an issue was Liquid Smooth 3.2

I've had the same issues using Cyanogenmod 7.1.1 and Liquid Smooth 3.2. The problem goes away using BAMF. Haven't found any good solution yet. I had the trouble on an old radio as well as the latest. This did come after Verizon's outage issues recently so maybe they made some changes that only affect AOSP ROMS somehow. I'm not positive but I don't think I had this trouble a month ago. Was running Cyanogenmod for several months with no trouble at all.
