    I would, but there's no way to screenshot splash and bootanimations.

    Oh wait... i'll just post pics.

    I had trouble with this Portal boot animation pack: http://androidforums.com/ally-all-things-root/344941-portal-boot-animations.html

    So I tried this.. and my results are mixed. The splash screen with the blue circle worked fine, but then displays this:
    V E
    L O
    C I
    T Y
    and then the Aperture Science boot animation does appear, but it's not fluid and about 1-2 seconds into the animation, the screen turns black and finishes booting the OS with the black screen, until the lock screen appears.

    I'm glad I made a nandroid.

    Screen is NOT going to be changed by bootanimations or boot splashes and this has come up a million and 2 times. For the boot animation, i cant help you with that. But theres no neeed to restore a nandroid. Just switch the boot animation back and reflash your old splash screen. Itll be quicker
