    Root is definitely not necessary to get screenshots. There is an SDK thats out there you can download to do so. I will say it is a bit involved in terms of what you have to do just for a screenshot but it is very possible (without root). There is a "Incredible layouts" thread that has the instructions in the first post if you are actually interested.

    Yeah but this means you have to hook it up to a computer to take the screen shots... I want a app to do it with

    Never said there was one. At this point, there isn't (that works with the Incredible). That post was directed to the person I quoted.
