Help app market wont load

Can someone please tell me why my app market won't load unless i am someplace tht has wifi? My brother has the exact same phone as i do. Same service provider and he has no problem going to th market on his phone.what gives?

more info needed, are you on stock rom 2.1, or 2.2 or 2.3?

Not sure wht tht means. But my phone is rooted its always not loaded unless there was a wifi connection i believe. 2.1

maybe because your signal is just slow, and you'll have to wait. Are you on Metro 1x? or Cricket 3G?
