Is there an app for the HTC Droid Eris that allows you to move apps from your phone to the SD card. I was using for the past couple of months the Motorola Droid and you could do that with the OS it had but now that I'm back using my old HTC my phone's memory gets low real quick and I would like to move some of the apps to the memory card.

You need to be rooted in order to do this with a stock Eris (or root to install a custom ROM which allows apps2sd.)

The rooted custom ROM xtrSENSE not only works just like stock, but it includes a functionality called cache2cache which frees a lot of internal memory space for more apps.

I was afraid that was going to be the answer. Thank you - Im not going to root as Im hoping that I won't be using the phone for only a couple more weeks.

    Thank you!

if you have astro you can backup you apps to the sd and then delete some of them off the phone. they will still be there if you need them and you can just reinstall from sd.
