Is there a quick button/app/object I can use to turn data on and off? Right now I go to Settings, Data Manager, and then I can click something to toggle data. But if there's something that will let me tap one thing instead of three, that'd be great (like I do with the Wifi object).

I use Connection Manager for exactly that.

Try doing a search in the Google Play store for a Data toggle. I use "Quick Settings"

Powerful is good for that. It's a collection of widgets that also lets you toggle wifi, airplane mode, flash light, bluetooth and a couple things I haven't identified yet

I think I'm going with Connection Manager for now...so easy to use, and I already use the Power Control widget that came with the phone for my wifi and bluetooth on/off functions.
