Once again, idiots making decisions.
I am sure I am not the only one in the world that needs my time to be correct and yet show the timezone of my choice regardless of my location. But the idiots that set up the time setting choices (in Droid at least) gray out (disable) the ability to choose the timezone you want if you choose the AUTOMATIC time setting.

Verizon crippled the Palm devices apparent (the choices were there) ability to do this. You could make the choice, but didn't work.
So if there is some NON idiot out there that could whip up an app that would allow the phone time to be updated yet show the timezone of our choice, please... go for it.
