Something has started eating my battery and data. Dunno if I downloaded an app that set some kind of constant update or what!!

Is there an app that can create a log of all activity: what app initiated or ended a data call at what time, what the battery level was, calls or texts in or out with data and battery useage, etc??

I know that's a lot of info, but it sure would help figuring some of this stuff out!

GSam Battery Montor would show you the apps' battery using ... maybe that's good enough :)

    ^ This.

That app is great. I've tracked down so many battery hogging apps with Gsam.

Got Gsam. Wow!! That's a lot of data!
May have found the hog: MalwareBytes.

    Question: what's "wakelock"?

when people say wakelock they usually mean when the phones CPU is awake and "doing stuff" while the screen is off and you arent actively using the phone

Aha!! I'm asleep and some app decides to party all night with the lights off!
And if I find out which one is presenting the most wakelocks, I can find the hidden hog?
"You can run but you can't hide!"

    Thanks!
