is there any app that will notify (via sound ring / camera flash ..) if the screen of the phone turns off?

why? I want to use my phone to record my self onto video .. 30+ minute talks .. but I want to be sure it is still filming .. sometimes exceptions happen .. out of space .. out of battery .. camera app rash .. etc ..

one way is to have a mirror behind the phone to reflect the screen .. but that is low tech way .. and would make me focus to check often ..

    thank you ..

or i guess such app could be made ..

if (screen == off) make sound

i have non rooted Note 3 and LG G2

Just find a camera app off the play store that has the option to keep the screen on while recording. I use "a better camera" app. Works like a charm...Thus not needing to notify?

Might be possible to do it with Tasker or Xposed or something. I've never used them myself. Or an app could be made, but someone would have to code it of course.
