any online tools for me to make this simple app

or can someone make a simple app

that will sound an alarm if the screen goes off

if (screen == off) make sound & flash camera flash

why - I want to use my phone to record my self onto video .. 30+ minute talks .. but I want to be sure it is still filming .. sometimes exceptions happen .. out of space .. out of battery .. camera app rash .. etc ..

one way is to have a mirror behind the phone to reflect the screen .. but that is low tech way .. and would make me focus to check often ..

i have non rooted Note 3 and LG G2

    thank you ..

  3. This Tasker profile will beep if screen goes off. I can find no way to invoke the flash.

    Profile: Demo
    Event: Display Off
    Enter: Anon
    A1: Beep [ Frequency:8000 Duration:1000 Amplitude:50 Stream:3 ]

Just find a camera app off the play store that has the option to keep the screen on while recording. I use "a better camera" app. Works like a charm...Thus not needing to notify?

hmmm but how can i made it into a stand alone app?

like .apk to send it to my other devices?

i got Tasker App factory ..

hmmm but can't seem to make it into .apk

  7. With Tasker and Tasker App Factory installed do the following in Tasker ...

    Create project ...
Long tap on Home at bottom of screen
    Select Add
    Type the name First
Have profile app1 and task s2 in project First
    Long tap on project First
Select set icon and choose something

    Build apk ...
    Long Tap on First
    Select Export
    Select As App
    Enter Package ... I would use net.tlanet.first
If blank enter Launch Task ... I would use s2
Tap Tasker icon at top of screen

The apk first.1.apk now exists in Tasker/Factory/Kids
If it is executed there will be an app called First with the icon you defined in your app drawer

This allow you to run the app First on another Android device without installing Tasker on that device.
