App Update is hung-Up! How do i stop it?

Tried powering-off, remove battery, even disabled the data download feature. Still tries to keep downloading update anyway. Hung up ...not making any percentage download progress...HELP! I have no internet connectivity because of this.

Force stopping download manager from settings worked for me, that happened to me when I tried to download dozens of apps at once after a factory reset. Is that what you said you tried? Also, get to a wifi spot. Maybe a strong wifi connection will let the update go through.

You can cancel individual updates by long pressing. There's another way to cancel -- maybe via the menu key. If that doesn't work, try force stopping the Market as suggested above.

Also, I forgot. In settings/applications/download manager, make sure to hit clear cache and clear data.
