Before you download an App it gives you the warning about what the App has access to. I had a new one today, and I'm not sure of the implications.

    Service that cost you money
    directly call phone numbers

That's what is says. Its kinda vague. I understand that it might cost me money. Who phone is it going to call?

    Thanks

Sorry.. I should have known I needed to include that. It was UltimateFaves.

I believe that just means the app allows you to directly dial/text from it, which could end up costing you money depending on your plan or what numbers you dial.

Thanks. I looked back over the vendor's web page, and that would make sense because you can make a contact list as one function of the App.

One of the features of UltimateFaves / UltimateFavesPRO is to put "direct-call" items in the carousel to save you a few clicks. When you call a number, your cellular provider charges you money, that's why this permission is required by the application.

UltimateFavesPRO has many new features now. You're welcome to check them out here:
