I just installed AppBrain Market yesterday. I have done one phone power off since then. I was just looking in at apps in my System Panel app and noticed that the AppBrain market is listed as cached but is still hitting the cpu like every couple seconds. Anyone else noticed this behavior? Is this normal? I'm going to try manually killing the app. If that doesn't work I guess I'll be removing it unless someone else has a suggestion.

I've had mine installed from day one and have had great battery life (30+hours).

Doesnt drain mine. What drained my battery was the addon battery indicators like battery lite and battery graph. Since removing them I get much better battery performance.

Ive been using Appbrain since I got my phone (1 day before release date - so more than 2 months) and it doesn't affect my battery life
