Since the last update on my HTC EVO 4G from Sprint, I have been receiving the error "the application HSW (process com.twentythreedivide.hsw) has stopped unexpectedly".

This comes as a popup and, for the most part, can be acknowledged with the OK key and it goes away without causing further problems. It sometimes re-appears in seconds, sometimes it does not reappear for a day or two.

    Android Version: 2.3.3

    Baseband Version: 2.15.00.0808

    Kernel Version: 2.3.35.10-g13578ee htc-kernel@and18-2 #1 Wed Jul 20 18:06:16 CST 2011

    Build Number: 4.54.651.1 CL134969 release-keys

    Software: 4.54.651.1

    Browser Version: WebKit/533.1

    PRI Version: 2.15_003

    PRL Version: 61081

I have tried to do a search for clues and/or other troubleshooting to no avail. Any suggestion from anyone on this forum would be extremely helpful.

    Thanks!

That looks to be the How Stuff Works app and looking at the comments left for the app on the market, you don't appear to be the only one getting that message. Apparently one of the recent updates caused an issue and the app keeps Force Closing even when not in use. Take a look at what some folk are saying here.

You could try clearing the cache and data associated with it via Settings -> Applications -> Manage Applications. If that doesn't work, your best bet might be to uninstall until the devs release an update?
