Is it possible to mute the sound from only a single application? For instance, if I want to play the game Kingdom Conquest II, but not hear any of it, and instead listen to Winamp in the background?

I'm not sure but check the app settings. It should have an option for sound volume. I doubt there is a setting to turn of a specific apps volume.

Just as above poster said, go into the app settings and it should give you options to turn down/off music/sound for that app while playing

Yeah, I'm not finding an option within the game, so I figued I'd see if Android had something similar to a windows audio mixer. Oh well. The search continues.
