Application Not installed error when installing apk file

Hi all,

I have Samsung galaxy pop and i was successful in installing angry birds previously. Once i uninstalled and when i now try to install it says "Appllication not installed". I downloaded another version of Angry Birds and tried to install but it too shows the same problem. I also tried to install Fruit Ninja, it too shows the same error "Application not installed". Initially i thought that the problem is with all apk files but i found out that i was able to install real Player in the phone and also many other apps. How can i install Angry Birds/Fruit Ninja ??

This sounds like it might be a Market issue perhaps. Try going in to your Settings > Application Settings > Manage Applications and tap on the top tab that says All... scroll down till you find Market and tap on it. Then tap on the Clear data button (your Market settings should get reset, too).

See if that helps. If not, let us know!

i have my SE W8. my probleme is when i try to install app like PES2011, first it say Install then after install it suddenly it say "Application not installed".

PLEASE HELP ME HOW TO FIX THIS? PLEASE.. (

By the way, i use android version 2.2.9 FroyoBreed.

Hi friends
I have installed 2.3.5 android ROM but it doesn't got android market. I tried downloading and and copied the same to system/app folder along. With other applications. Have changed permisssions to same as others. It shows install button and clicking on I am getting error "Application not installed"
Next I tried downloading apps from market. Its showing that "your application will be downloading shortly" after some time its showing that "installed". In my account its showing that all allocation I tried as completed but not finding in my phone.
Please help

Hey! If applications not installing, delete file .android_secure/smdl2tmpl.asec from SD card.

If the folder .android_secure is empty on file manager, delete it from PC

hi i am dhanwin and i am going to help you with this problem.
its simple download astro file manager from market.
open it, click on manage my files[up].
see where your application is[which you are trying to install but could not because of error "application not installed"]click on it and install it. it will be get installed! plz reply!

2=open it.click on manage my files.
3=look for pes2012. when you find pes2012 click on it.
4=click install .
5=it will get installed!
6=reply back it it works! i have tried this on my galaxy mini 2.2.1 and it works!

Hello,
In my device lenovo A536, I can't download any app from play store.It says "error code 110"!!
So I tried by downloading apk files.
It says "app not installed"!!
Pls can u say a solution for this problem??Pls because I don't have any other way!!

Try going to menu>settings>applications and select the "all" tab. From there scroll to Google Play tap on it and select force stop, clear data and clear cache, the restart your phone.

From what I've read online most people recommend doing a full factory reset if that doesn't work, but if clearing the data from Google Play doesn't work, it's likely the rest won't either (at least that seems to be the consensus from others who've tried.) And, if that doesn't work, it's likely to be a memory failure, which means then phone must be sent in for repair.
