I noticed a ton of new apps by one particular developer (SocialNews) that publishes using the email address mhbcup@gmail.com. The developer also references the webpage http://www.worwor.cn (is .cn a Chinese domain?) that appears to go nowhere. Some of the apps are banking sites, a PayPal site, eBay, a DirectTV site that will all require you enter your username and password. Maybe I am just a paranoid(android) user.

Another thing I find strange is all versions of these apps are 5.1 - 5.6 See the link below.

Is there a way to confirm the legitimacy of a developer?

Just as a disclaimer. I am not accusing this developer of anything!

Too many red flags for me to take a chance on that software.

    Agreed!

I've seen those and figured i could do most of that stuff from my browser anyways, so I just don't bother downloading them.
