Application to share files between PC/Internet/Phone

I'm looking for an application where I can have my own 'cloud' between my PC, phone, and internet.

Is dropbox my only option or is there something better that I don't know about?

Well, DropBox "seems" faster than SugarSync, but SugarSync has a larger free space (5gb) and more space per referral (500mb per referral), and not only has its "Magic" folder that functions like DropBox, but you can also set additional folders to sync.

DropBox is simpler, no interface and faster. Or maybe its just faster because I only have small files on it (pdf, word, ppt), while my Sugarsync handles 200mb onenote notebooks..
