Help Apps after being installed still shows Installing in downloads section

After downloading and installing apps, with notification bar and appearing in apps menu after doing so, if i wanted to uninstall the app after with going into the download section of market it still shows at the top as "installling"

if i turn off the phone and back on again and go into the download section it shows as "installed"

any ideas??

also just realised that when u uninstall the programs it shows as "uninstalling" in the downloads section after its uninstalled, but shows the program isnt installed in the market search list.
once again they vanish from the list once u reboot the phone
any ideas??

no idea on that one as my wildfire installs and uninstalls apps just fine.

factory reset?

have done a factory reset and its working fine now
