Apps missing

    T-mo sent me replacement G1; Cust. service said I would not lose my installed apps., but they are not there. They said try "my d/l's" and nothing there. Any help here?:thinking:

    thats weird they should all be there cuz your apps backup into your google account. so you went to market>menu>my downloads and it was blank? make sure you gave your phone enough time to sync all your info.

    same thing happened when I got a replacement g1. I don't think they sync to your account, just your device.

    Correct, each device has a unique ID and the market uses that ID to remember what apps have been installed.

    Thanks to all that replied. Makes sense about diff. ID. Goes to show u that T-Mo's cust. serv. "tells u what u want to hear" and not the facts. I had to d/load the apps all over again.
