Guys,

My apps since noridc 2.1 are now not showing in alpha numeric order,

Has anyone else got this issue,

I bet I missed a simple option somewhere

I have the same thing. But its strange, the ones that appear at the end of the list are in their own order alphabetically. Not sure why its happened. Some that I have previously installed have sorted ok into the main list. Doesn't bother me but would like to know what gives. Have you rooted...?

edit....

and yet i just added adobe reader and it went to start of the list ?? wierd

Yea I rooted mine, it only seems to be market installed as far as I can tellm I maybe wrong.

Tried to uninstall and install again, it still doesnt help

Just to update,

I have just installed an app from sd card and it drops at the end so its not just market apps

How do I find out the app version?

I don't think its corrrupt as I have downloaded from market as well as apk from pc. It just seems strange to me

Just sussed out what's going on . its a problem with sorting upper/lower case. Notice how the ones added to the end of the list have a lowercase first letter

Blimey and I thought I was persistent when faced with a problem! Good on you tho. It's really obvious now you have said it. Is there a way to alter their position/change their name?

I just installed the ebay app to test the theory but it's put mine in the right order...

...must just be another of the growing number of bugs.

^^ well you didn't need to install ebay app as the first one listed in your app drawer is lower case. could you try switching to the stock/default home screen and see what happens

I don't have it installed, it's one of the first things I remove.
