apps not uninstalling or downloading! help!

Hello I'm a new user on the forum bit I've always used the guides to root!
today my phone was acting really funny..the notification bar just disappeared outta nowhere...so I restarted my phone and it came back..well I went to uninstall an all and it just sits there uninstalling...any app it does that..so I went to download an app and just sits there downloading...I tried to clear the market cache and it just says computing and won't let me...I'm using an LG ESTEEM MS-910 rooted any info is greatly appreciated thanks

How are you attempting the uninstall - through Settings > Applications, or via Market/Play? This was a known problem with a previous update to the Android Market, but if you are on Google Play you already have the fix.

I'm doing settings>applications

Even if I use anything else...my phone comes with a stock app manager..it doesn't even show I have any apps

have you tried a battery pull

Yeah I've tried everything except for a factory reset..
