Recently got a 32g sd card for my galaxy s... works fine with my music library but now that internal memory is full, any newly installed apps are installed on sd card. These apps do not show up in my apps menu and force close when launched!!??
Card was fat formatted on PC, is class 6 32g... Tried unmounting and remounting' don't really want to reformat as all my music is on it.
Any suggestions how to get apps to work from sd card??

Most of my apps have been moved to my SD, not automatically, but by my use of appropriate software. They all work just fine from there. But having the internal memory full is a different can of worms. And how do you try to launch an app that doesn’t show on your apps menu?

Please refer to App Install Location | Android Developers and read through it. Not everything is allowed to be moved to SD card. Some are not and going by that definition, if you have that many apps you really can get internal memory reaching full.

    Time to start un-installing apps.

That even happens with too many apps moved to SD, since they all leave a chunk of themselves in memory.

I think the problem is that your memory is full, rather than there's something wrong with the SD card
