Apps other than tools, games etc

    Hi Friends,
    I just started learning Android. My simple doubt is will Honeycomb be used to program business related applications rather than games and widgets just as desktop softwares are being developed in the market. Sorry if the question is too stupid.

    No question is stupid.

    There are many issues beyond simple development when programming for the enterprise. Security is always a prime concern. Beyond the general productivity apps like word processing and spreadsheets, specific function apps for business will be developed on an as-needed basis for that specific industry. There may be data access apps built for business like Point of sale or transactional services, or even rudimentary process control, but until the security issues are addressed to the satisfaction of those responsible for an enterprises IT, they will not be mainstream.
