    Hi all,
I've looked (probably in the wrong places), but I can't seem to find an answer to this...I haven't been following the root scene the past few months.

I'm running UD 2.1, and loving the shit out of it. However, I have a couple questions about apps on the SD card:
-Is it possible (and/or smart) to put all apps onto the SD card?
-If yes, what's the best procedure? (partition required?)
-Does the market recognize apps to update/etc from the SD?
-Can you set apps to install to SD by default?
-And finally, if all apps are on the SD, does that remove the need to backup/restore apps when switching between roms?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

ok, yes it is possible to put all apps on the SD card, you should leave any app that you have a widget running off of on your phone.

I personally used TiBu to put all apps on SD Card and then deselected the apps that I have widgets running from

yes the market will recognize apps and update them

I believe the setting up of apps to SD as default is dependent on your ROM, LFY has the option to do auto, on or off

No, you still should backup/restore apps, because when doing this w/ Tibu it will and can also save any data associated w/ the app. Comes in handy when you have 3 stars on 2 levels of angry birds

just make sure when you do that, do not select any apps that you have widgets being used from. Also if you use a different home screen, do not send that to the sd card either.
