apps2sd on a Sprint Hero

    i just rooted my sprint hero. how the heck can i transfer my apps to my sdcard. i have tried many tutorial but it did not work.can somebody please help? again its a sprint hero thanks

    There may be other ways to do this, but the Fresh 1.1 ROM uses app2sd and handles this automagically for you. You'll have to format your SD card with Ext2 + FAT before or after you flash though. The system uses Ext2 or 3 as a mount point under /system/sd for your apps.

    You will not see the applications in /sdcard You have to look in /system/sd

    ok i installed fresh 1.1 i just can figure out how to save the apps to the sd. my sd card is formated with ext3. so what now. do i need an app for this?

    Nope, the rom just does it for you. Use adb shell and look in /system/sd/app and /system/sd/app-private

    If you see stuff in there, you're golden.

    how do i check that? once i get in system/sd their is nothing in that folder. what i my doing wrong?
