Apps2Sd with out Root

I remember seeing on here a while back a thread about saving apps to the SD card without root. I have searched and searched looking for this but have been unsuccessful. Was this possible? If so how do I do it. If it was not oh well guess I might be rooting. Just looking to get more space for apps.

I haven't followed the link above, but it's description clearly says 'on Android 2.2'. The only way you're going to get 2.2 on an Eris is to root it.
*I* am not aware of a way to accomplish this without root - which of course doesn't mean it can't be done.

Yeah tried the link, doesnt work and basically requires you root... so yeah but i was planning on rooting anyway just making sure i did it right now so yeah holla
