Help Archos 70 bluetooth tethering problem

I am trying to tethering the a70 with my HTC Desire but not successful, the phone is paired and I can ftp between the two no problem, but when tethering the a70 says "paired but not connected" and stuck there, I unpair and pair again but still the same, is it the HTC problem ? I can only use portable hotspot at the moment.

What hotspot app are you using? Are you sure that app supports bluetooth? Most hotspot apps are wifi only.
