Are all ATT's Android phones App Sideloading Blocked?

    I know for the Aria, Captivate, and X10 you cannot just download apps from your computer, only from the market, are all their phones like this? Its was pretty annoying with my Captivate, hopefully they dont do it with the Olympus and other better Android phones, I think they will though....

    you CAN sideload apps, its can be hard to get it to work but once you do its very easy. google "sideload wonder machine" install and follow the direction on how it work if you have ant question let us know

    I have my T-Mobile Motorola Defy working on AT&T's 850 band for 3G. It allows for non-market installs...FWIW.

    It's probably going to be an ongoing AT&T thing since it's based upon corporate attitude, not on the phone. However, others step up to the plate to address these restrictions. On the Captivate, for example, there were two different ways to sideload:
