Nexus one if from t mobile would be the same as a nexus one from Google in the sense that all updates come from Google and are not carrier specific?

Also is froyo 2.2 the last OS for the nexus one or because its still the developer phone it will get 2.3 or 3.0?

And all the software updates come from Google and are not carrier specific?

The carrier ones do use different firmware to the Google supplied ones. It's easy to update them to the Google version though.

All Nexus One's came from Google. They do have different radio versions to allow better performance on a particular carrier's network, but all software updates come from Google (not the carrier).

It is my belief we we will receive any Google software update that comes along as long as it will run correctly on our phones.
