Root Are android phones capable of Dual-Boot??

It seems that I-phones and a select few windows phones can both dual and even tri+ boot(HTC HD2 can boot into WP 6.5(native os), WP 7, Android 2.2, 2.3, 3.0, Ubuntu, Windows 95, meego, ect...) and i have yet to discover an android device that can boot into any other OS other than Ubuntu, or Windows 95.. if the HTC HD2 can boot into 5+ different OS's, then why cant an Android native OS device boot into at least WP 7 or 6.5?

it can be done:
[DEV][Proof-of-Concept] Boot from SD on Optimus V - xda-developers
but there isn't an app or recovery out that supports it on our device.
so, it's an involved process, and you have to have a class 6 or higher sd card for it to be effective.

possibly the nand partitions could be modded to support it without sd card, but that'd be even more involved and I don't remember reading about anyone getting the partitions resized successfully on the optimus s or v.

if I had the time I'd finish a multiboot recovery, but it'd have to be worth my while, since my normal waking time is mostly spent tending to my kids.

Wow, that's some great work you got there, and I'm surprised it didn't get as much attention as I thought something like that would. I remember reading how the HTC HD2 can boot either an android os, or wp7 from the SD card, although the hd2 is an older phone(I think) than the optimus v, it can still accomplish great things, plus it has better hardware. It would be great to start seeing similar accomplishments for the optimus v.
