I purchased my nexus1 because we were promised updates when they were available. But because of the nexus s we are waiting for something that is obviously available. I don't care if there is a new Google phone or not. We are not getting what we paid for. Anyone ready for a class action suit? F Google for not giving us what we deserve. Its not right.

If you followed the threads on the Nexus forum ,you'd see that there is no OTA available right now !

I think the OP believes that Gingerbread for the Nexus One is finished and that Google is just not releasing it because they want the Nexus S to have some time to shine as the only phone with Android 2.3. I don't doubt this to be true but as far as suing Google for not updating the N1 yet, the OP may be overreacting a bit. I don't think there was any official promise that the N1 would always receive updates first and I'm sure we'll still get the OTA before carrier supported devices.

I don't remember being promised anything. Learn to like your phone as it is. I'm sick of all of this update madness.

Can't stop the update madness, once it's in you then you don't stop until it's here, it's like a sickness.

I don't expect anything, which makes waiting a lot easier, and once you do it get it, it's worth even more.

They just uploaded gingerbread yesterday and said the n1 would be getting an ota in a few weeks. Believe that was said last week. I am also impatient but give then a break.

I should not have been cruel and I'm sorry... You were just excited like we all are but class action law suit was hilarious.

I think we should stop looking to Google for the updates, and start looking to the mod community for the updates. I am going to guess that Cyanogen's team will end up getting a working Gingerbread to us prior to the release from Google. What I wish is that Google would release their apps so that we could sideload the market, and then load up the rest of the Google apps through the market.

I believe Google "releases" updates to the N1 and carriers at the same time, but it takes a while for the OTA's to start reaching us.

Update, updates....updates! Belly full but your still hungry. If it wasn't for this forum and all the chatter about updates, I wouldn't have a clue as I'm in no rush when it comes out. As long as we get it before all the other carrier based Androids I'm cool.

I'm not saying I wouldn't be happy if it takes more than another month but its nothing to get your panties in a bunch over;)

snazzy you weren't being cruel. i was just fishing with this post to see what other people thought. and if you thought i was serious about a class actiong suit then let me quote you again..."Ha ha ha! Oh wait you thought i was serious? Let me laugh even harder! HAHAHAHA!"

    small edit in this quote.
