Other than that LED game, and Backbreaker?
I'd like to know too.
What LED game though?
Football - Android app on AppBrain
Maybe LED wasn't the right word. But that one.
ewww what's that!?
There's got to be something better.
How about a little Tecmo Bowl action. I'd love that.
not to bump an old thread...but...bump. what's up with the lack of a good American football game? I see madden running on the ipad in the TV ads, and it makes me sad.
i cant believe something wasnt ported? anyone have any word, or timetable for one? there has to be a huge market for it here. I would think, at least in the states, it would sell well over a soccer game.
I know there is a PSone emulator for android could madden from those years work?
Yea, i have psx4droid. EA sports games do not run on it...and it appears to be abandonware. He has yet to add any udates to his $6 app.... I have gameday 2000 currently on it. However, it runs at about 60% speed, and the controls are hard with a touch screen. Was hoping for a dedicated app. maybe next year...
Argh. For a second there, I was thinking this could be a version of the old Coleco handheld LED football game.
That would have been fun for old time's sake.
There's also QB Attack Deluxe which is essentially a game in which you're the QB and you have to pass the football for points. I really enjoy it, but it does have a minor bug in which sometimes the routes aren't displayed properly. It's been 3 weeks and the dev has yet to release any updates.
And now there's Flick Kick in which you kick field goals.
If we assemble these together with Backbreaker then we'll finally have a real Football game!?
Football Rush: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.sillycube.android.Rushing&feature=search_result
Look stupid. But seems like lot of people have tried it before. Can kill some spare time.
EA Games released Madden 11 for the Galaxy Tab, but I hear the rosters are not updated. Would love for it to be released for the phones. I don't really care about the rosters as much as the game itself
Ya...I could care less about the roster...I just want the game. It doesn't appear like they'll release it for any phones, other than the Droid X they originally made it for. EA sucks...it seemed like they started getting into Android a little bit; they released a fair amount of titles last year, but for the first four months of 2011 we haven't really seen anything (aside from Bejewled 2, which is technically a PopCap title anyway).
The promised Madden 11 to the Android Market is limited to the Galaxy Tab which is extremely lame.
Hey guys, just wanted to chime in on a game I've made based on american football. It's called the Rush. Here's the link to the thread:
I'm still working on it and I'm hoping to update it as soon as I get through with the barrage of tests I've been taking in college.
Genesis emulator and madden 93 ftw
Thats more like it.
try Madden NFL on fpse
YouTube - Madden NFL 2003 (PSX)
Exactly what I was thinking!
Hi guys, I've had this same frustration and have started to make a football game myself.
Right now it seems like all that's on the market is simulation games and single task games like QB Attack Deluxe mentioned above. The best game I have played is Go Long Football.
Game if Inches is looking awesome already and you can check it out at: GameOfInches.org.
there are plenty - my fav is madden NFL 08 . its the best of the series.
you can always search on google american football games and find lots
sorry for the double comment. you can google it and find many. i heard NFL head coach is nice
Madden 12 or 13 is on the play store and NFL 13 2 good football games. Now what it is is a lack of basketball games.
